Open the door to find a small screw that sticks out of the bracket. If the bracket is too low or sunk below carpeting remove the door and the bracket. Cut a shim to fit under the bracket and reinstall the bracket. The door edge and frame should line up.

Close the door and look along the edge of the door as it lines up with the frame. Adjust the bottom bracket. Then hold the spring loaded top pivot down while you swing the top of the door toward the frame and under the door track. Once the door is approximately under the hole in the track release the pivot.

Spread the crack slightly with the screwdriver and spread carpenter s glue with a toothpick. The style shown in the photo requires you to lift the door and drop the pin into a different notch in the bracket.
