Honda Driver Door Lock Not Working

One of the doors has a problem with the locking mechanism and does not respond to lock unlock key presses from the fob.

Research i believe at an odyclub forum showed that it was the passenger door ecm not driver door that had failed shorting out the driver door ecm.
